Westie Family Reunion
At Capital Swing, we want to create an opportunity for Westies of all generations to come back together, and celebrate all of our collective historical experience(s) while creating new ones. For our 30 year anniversary in 2024, we created the Westie Family Reunion pass, and have decided we will continue to offer this pass for the foreseeable future.
Life takes us in all sorts of places, and sometimes that means that we haven't gotten to see our dance family very often in some instances. Part of what makes Capital as meaningful as it is, is the experiences we have shared, and more importantly, the people we have shared those experiences with. For our event, we want to help facilitate a Westie Family Reunion... To help make that happen, we are offering FREE passes to ANYONE with a WSDC number that hasn't been active for 7+ years.
There are so many beautiful humans and beautiful dancers that have come into contact with out community... Many of whom have expressed that they would love to re-engage with the convention scene, but they don't out of fear that they won't see the faces familiar to them, and we totally get it... It's always nice to know that your friends are going to show up and experience the thing with you. So, our hope is that we are building the space to step right back into a weekend convention experience with many familiar faces, and also tons of new, smiling and loving, faces.

*If you joined us last year on a Westie Family Reunion pass, you are still welcome to do so again this year if it feels appropriate. We are just adding the option to contribute money towards the event via PayPal at [email protected]. Please only contribute what feels comfortable.*
